Kiaora! \u00a0I\u2019m Haruhi Kurokawa and I go to Te Kuiti High School in NZ. \u00a0I have only less than a month before we go back to Japan. \u00a0I feel that time passes very quickly. \u00a0I\u2019ve gained a lot of precious experiences here. \u00a0I have never had experiences like these in Japan. \u00a0Let me introduce my amazing experiences. \u00a0I want to write about my host family, my school events and my holiday.\u00a0<\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/div>\n
First, I\u2019ll introduce my great host family. \u00a0I live with my host father, my host mother and a pretty cat in a town called Te Kuiti. \u00a0My host parents have three sons. \u00a0They live in other places in NZ. \u00a0Two of them come back home almost every weekend and the oldest son sometimes comes back home. \u00a0My host mother is a teacher at Te Kuiti High School. ?She teaches sewing and cooking. \u00a0My host father is a farmer. \u00a0My host family has a big farm and many farm animals such as bulls, cows, sheep, roosters and farm dogs. \u00a0I sometimes go to the farm and help with some jobs. \u00a0My host father moves about 250 sheep and 100 cows to the field every day.? It is amazing.<\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/div>\n
Secondly, I\u2019ll tell you about my school life and school events. \u00a0I take English, ESOL, Math, Science, Textile, Hospitality and Early Childhood Education. \u00a0My favorite is Textile. \u00a0My school held the school ball in September. \u00a0I made my own dress for it in Textile class. \u00a0It was very hard work, but I could learn how to make a piece of clothing. \u00a0I love making clothes, so I am making a shirt and pants at home. \u00a0When I have a problem, I can ask my host mother, so this is a good opportunity to speak English. \u00a0I joined some school events too. \u00a0The most impressive event was a field day. \u00a0I did the javelin and ran 800m. \u00a0I did the javelin for the first time, so I couldn\u2019t do it well, but I won the second place in 800-maters dash. \u00a0I was very happy. \u00a0I enjoyed all the school events.<\/div>\n

Next, let me tell you what I did on school holidays. \u00a0I went to many places with my host family on holidays. \u00a0My host family has a motorboat, so we often went to the lake, where we enjoyed fishing and water snowboarding. \u00a0Water snowboarding was very hard for me. \u00a0My arms were very sore after I did it. \u00a0My family loves hunting too, and they use guns. \u00a0My host brother told to me how to use a gun but I couldn\u2019t hit a target. \u00a0It was a very good experience because I can\u2019t do it in Japan. \u00a0I went to many tourist sites too.\u00a0<\/div>\n

I could experience many things that I cannot do in Japan. \u00a0Of course I study English very hard and my English has improved. \u00a0In addition, I have a feeling that I have mentally matured. \u00a0It is very important for me. \u00a0All things considered, I am very glad that I could come to New Zealand. There is only a little time left, but I want to enjoy every remaining day and show my gratitude to the Kiwi people who have been supporting me.<\/div>\n
