Hi guys!\u00a0 How have you been doing?\u00a0 It\u2019s Yuika here!<\/p>\n

Now, let me introduce myself.\u00a0 I live in Whanganui and go to Cullinane College.\u00a0 I\u2019m known as a foodie, which means someone who loves eating, by my friends.\u00a0 Actually, it\u2019s true.\u00a0 One day, when I was not hungry, I said,\u201c I\u2019m not hungry, so I don\u2019t want to eat.\u201d\u00a0 One of my kiwi friends said,\u201d What?!\u00a0 You are not Yuika!\u00a0 Where is the real Yuika!\u201d \ud83d\ude42\u00a0 It is one of my funniest memories.<\/p>\n

Anyway, I\u2019d like to tell about my New Zealand life!\u00a0 First, I\u2019d like to tell you about my school!\u00a0 As I told you, I go to Cullinane College.\u00a0 Cullinane College is one of the Catholic schools in New Zealand, so many religious ceremonies are held at school.\u00a0 I think basically Cullinane College is similar to Jin-ai Girls\u2019 High School.\u00a0 By the way, I take religious education, English, music, tourism, food, ESOL and math classes.\u00a0 Also I have health and career classes every other week.\u00a0 My most favorite class is music because we can play any instrument as we like.\u00a0 During the class, I always practice playing the piano.\u00a0 Speaking of the piano, I\u2019m going to play the piano accompanying a year 13 student!\u00a0 It\u2019s going to be a good experience for me!\u00a0 Also teachers and students here are very kind to me.\u00a0\u00a0 At first I couldn\u2019t understand what teachers said and what I should do, so I always desperately asked the teachers or the students sitting next to me.\u00a0 Then they taught me kindly!\u00a0 In addition, I made friends through asking questions.\u00a0 Understanding classes is still hard for me, but everyone supports me, so I\u2019m not afraid of classes now.<\/p>\n

Second, I\u2019d like to tell you about my host family!\u00a0 My host family has two dogs, one cat and three chickens!\u00a0 My host mother Toni and her partner Keith are crazy about cars, so they often take me to car events on weekends!\u00a0\u00a0 In fact, I didn\u2019t know about cars at all.\u00a0 However, I\u2019ve gradually come to understand about cars, so everyone says, \u201cYou will be an expert on cars!\u201d \ud83d\ude42\u00a0 Also I have two host brothers, both of whom go to Cullinane College.\u00a0 They are very kind to me and very funny.\u00a0 The older one is Conner.\u00a0 He is good at cooking, so he can cook many things by himself, and he often gives me ice cream!\u00a0 Also, he pedals a bicycle very, very, very fast, so he can go home quickly from school.\u00a0 I\u2019m so jealous!\u00a0 (haha)\u00a0 The younger one is Hamish.\u00a0 He loves playing games, so he introduces a lot of games to me.\u00a0 I often clean up the kitchen with him, but it often takes very long because we start playing a game.\u00a0 I don\u2019t think it\u2019s a bad thing, though.\u00a0 Don\u2019t you think so?\u00a0 My host family helps me have many experiences.\u00a0 For example, my host mother takes me to piano lessons once a week.\u00a0 I didn\u2019t think I would take piano lessons in New Zealand, but I\u2019m very, very, very happy to be able to take piano lessons!\u00a0 Also, the piano is in my room!\u00a0 The piano was in another place but they moved it to my room.\u00a0 I cannot thank them enough.<\/p>\n

Finally, I\u2019d like to tell you an important thing.\u00a0 I have tried to be a very cheerful girl since I was a first grader at Jin-ai Girls\u2019 High School.\u00a0 And now, thanks to my smile, I\u2019ve made a lot of friends.\u00a0 I think it is important to have a friendly atmosphere because everyone speaks to me easily.\u00a0 Of course, speaking to people from myself is also important, but if I looked serious all the time, people wouldn\u2019t speak to me.\u00a0 I\u2019ve noticed that smiles are important through staying in New Zealand.<\/p>\n
